* mean = 못된, 심술궃은
사람의 성격을 의미하는 형용사로 쓰일 때는 못된, 심술궃은 등의 의미로, 조금 비열하게 굴고 공평하지 못하게 심술궃은 행동을 하는 사람들을 의미한다.

고등학교 때였잖아. 영원히 유효한 조약도 아니고.
*bind = 의무를 지우다, 구속하다
서류 같은 종이들을 철해놓은 걸 바인더라고 하듯이 동사로 bind는 기본적으로 무언가를 묶다 라는 뜻이 있다.
EX) I'm not bound to anything.
=전 어디에도(약속, 법적 조항 등에) 묶여있지 않아요.
Will : Then why did it have the word "eternity" in it?
그럼 왜 "영원"이라는 단어를 썼는데?

동사로 relieve는 (고통 등을)없애다, 완화시키다 또는 안도하게 하다 라는 뜻이 있다.
relive는 형용사로 안도하는 의미를 가진다.
EX) I was so relieved when everyone showed up on time.
= 모두가 제시간에 왔을 때 정말 안도했어.
